In May 2014, the Basel Derbygirl Kollektiv met for the first time, determined to bring roller derby to Basel - and, in true Derby-spirit, we've done it all ourselves: training, coaching, promotion, and management. Since those early days, we have grown to 25 members and counting, and are proud to be a truly diverse and multicultural team, welcoming players of all genders, races, age, sexuality and skill.

Roller Derby Rookie (Beginner) Bootcamp
Roll with us! The Rhine Rebels organise a bootcamp, we would love to train with you and have an amazing derby weekend together!
When is it? 13-14 June 2026
Who is it for?
Focus for beginner skaters who did not yet do one Bout but are cleared for contact. (meaning you are already training with contact in your league)
If you have any questions regarding whether the bootcamp suits you, contact us without hesitation!
Where is it? Rollsporthalle, Nidwaldnerstrasse 20, Basel
What does it cost? We don’t want the fee to hinder you from coming and we therefore have sliding prices. Pay what you can: 15 Fr. / 30 Fr. / 45 Fr. With the fee we pay invited trainers as well as the venue
We can assist to find accomodation, please let us know in the form what you need.
What is the program?
Saturday: Training (starts at 11 am on skate until 5 pm).
Sunday : Training in the morning (starts at 11 am) + Scrimmage in the afternoon until 4 pm)
