In May 2014, the Basel Derbygirl Kollektiv met for the first time, determined to bring roller derby to Basel - and, in true Derby-spirit, we've done it all ourselves: training, coaching, promotion, and management. Since those early days, we have grown to 25 members and counting, and are proud to be a truly diverse and multicultural team, welcoming players of all genders, races, age, sexuality and skill.

Die Rhine Rebels feiern ihr 9-jähriges Jubiläum! Am 26. August spielen wir in der St. Jakobshalle gegen die Splatter Fairies Marburg(Türöffnung: 13:15, Spielstart: 14:00).

Nach dem Spiel geht es ab 20:00 im @Hirscheneck mit Band und DJs weiter
Eintrittspreise Vorschläge: Spiel: 5-20 CHF, Spiel & Afterparty: 10-30 CHF, Afterparty: 5-20 CHF
Die Halle ist sowohl über eine Treppe als auch über einen Aufzug erreichbar. Es gibt eine rollstuhlgerechte Toilette. Die Akustik und die Beleuchtung im Saal sind ziemlich intensiv (laut und hell). Wir werden Ohrstöpsel zur Verfügung stellen, die Sie am Eingang finden. Es ist ratsam, Kopfhörer mit Geräuschunterdrückung und/oder Sonnenbrillen mitzubringen, wenn Sie von sich selbst oder von anderen Personen wissen, dass eine solche Umgebung überwältigend sein kann. Für diese Veranstaltung gibt es ein Sensibilisierungskonzept. Bitte lesen Sie dieses bei Ihrer Ankunft oder fragen Sie das Personal an einem der Stände oder am Eingang, was darin steht.

The bout will be followed by an aftershow event in the @Hirscheneck from 8 pm with band and DJs
The hall is accessible via stairs and via lift. There is wheelchair-accessible toilet. The acoustics & the lights in the hall are quite intense (loud & bright). We will provide earplugs, which you can find at the entrance or the cake stall. It is advisable to bring noise cancelling headphones, and/or sunglasses if you know from yourself or friends that such an environment can be overwhelming. There is an awareness concept for this event. Please read this when you arrive or ask the staff at any of the stalls or the entrance about what it says.
